Omeprazole powder (1 gr. /scoop) 100 gramsGeneric for prilosec or gastroguard antiulcer medication. Omeprazole provides superior acid suppression because it effectively shuts down acid production in the stomach, giving the ulcer time to heal. Omeprazole was the first acid pump inhibitor to be approved for use in humans, and is now the first and only acid pump inhibitor approved for the treatment of stomach ulcers in horses. Dosage: 2 grams (2 scoops) daily for 1000 lbs. of bodyweight. At the dosage just described, this 100 gram jar contains a 50 day supply that costs almost one tenth that of the same amount of the non-generic gastroguard product.
