Pergolide can be an effective medication for reducing the size and activity of ACTH-secreting pituitary tumors in horses with Equine Cushing's Syndrome, a condition often associated with body muscle wasting, increased urination, non-shedding of hair coat, and laminitis. Typical dosage for a 1000 lb. horse is 1 mg. (1 scoop of powder) per day.
